Dominique d'Acher

Dominique d'Acher was an artist engaged in all the fights of feminist emancipation. This artist's wife has long remained in the shadow of her husband. Her work becomes more prominent, in the 70s, when gallery owners - bold for the time - expose her work.

She defines herself as a "painter of inner reality". Her work of figurative research centered on a quest for identity questions. An introspective approach without concession.
