The Fondation Carmignac, created in 2000 on the initiative of Edouard Carmignac, is a corporate foundation that focuses on two main areas: a contemporary art collection that currently includes more than 300 works, and the Prix du photojournalisme supporting an investigative report each year, which is the subject of an exhibition and catalog.
Since June 2018, in partnership with the Fondation Carmignac, an exhibition space accessible to the public, the Villa Carmignac, has been created on the island of Porquerolles to offer temporary exhibitions, a garden inhabited by works specially created for the space as well as cultural and artistic programming.
