The Timisoara Museum of Fine Arts is a museum installed in the Baroque Palace in Timisoara, Romania.
The museum came into being after the closure of the Art sections of the Banat Museum, which was operating in a floor on the level of the current building. The Museum became an institution on January 1, 2006; the director who inaugurated it is University Professor Marcel Tolcea. It opened to the public on December 21. The museum includes a unique collection of the works and personal objects of the painter Corneliu Baba, with 90 works of art.
The current museum is the result of a work that took over 120 years.
