The Commanderie de Peyrassol is an estate founded in the 13th century by the Templar Order. Located in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Verdon, it has nearly 850 hectares of oak, olive and garrigue trees that protect the age-old vineyard of great reputation, Château Peyrassol.
Owned by Philippe Austruy since 2001, the vineyard produces sublime AOP Côtes de Provence wines. The estate houses the exceptional contemporary art collection of its owner. The Commanderie de Peyrassol also welcomes visitors for a gourmet meal, a day of discovery or a Provencal stay. Not to mention weddings and seminars which are organized there throughout the year.
