Inspired by Eve de Medeiros, founder and artistic director of the event, DDESSINPARIS has been, since its creation in 2013, the revealer of a living heritage. Numerous projects have emerged, accomplishing the major objectives of the event: to make drawing known in all its forms as a medium in its own right on the art market, to make new geographical territories known as breeding grounds for creation and broadcasting, finally putting them in contact and making them dialogue.
By offering strong visibility to young talents, alongside more established galleries and artists, Eve de Medeiros has made known and recognized a new artistic scene of contemporary drawing whose actors inventively energize and irrigate a medium without borders.
