For its eighth edition AKAA highlights curatorial practice in the context of a fair and its market. Under the artistic direction of Armelle Dakouo, several invitations were made to curators and artists for projects, installations and written contributions which question curatorial practice and the issues it defends, thus allowing a critical reflection of the subject of the artist while giving him access to different types of exhibition spaces and therefore expression. Curatorial practice contributes to the visibility of an artist, a scene and/or an artistic community. It shakes up its impact, thus making a lasting contribution to the career of that person.
