In his stronghold at MUba in Tourcoing, the exceptional creative years of King Eugène, from 1980 to 2000 (the last year of his life), are the focus of a major exhibition centred on his paintings and subtle drawings, with some 80 pieces that highlight the creative profusion of the old master, ‘far from trends and fashions’, in his own words.
