Designed as ‘an exploration of the act and gesture of copying today’ by its curators, the exhibition at the Centre Pompidou-Metz invites 100 contemporary artists of all ages and backgrounds to revive the legacy of the Louvre, the last museum in France to have housed a copyists' office since 1793.
