Following the major exhibition devoted to Iris Levasseur's paintings at the Musée de Tessé in Le Mans in 2024-2025, the FRAC Picardie is presenting her Champs de bataille (Battlefields), a collection of works on paper accompanied by a smaller selection of paintings. Although the subject could not be more topical, it was the shock of the bombing of Palmyra that first prompted the artist to begin this series ten years ago.
