Hors Format is an opportunity to take monumental paintings out of storage, such as the magnificent works of Frank Stella, Bernar Venet, Gerhard Richter, Louis Cane, Helmut Federle, Vincent Bioulès, but also David Diao, Lee Bae, Jonathan Lasker and Barthélémy Toguo… A section entitled “Collections standing the test of time” recalls the significant proportion of old works in the museum’s collection (of note is a very fine Flandrin), while making us aware of the major restoration campaign carried out during the work.
