The exhibition

For the past fifteen years and a first marked by a memorable commission to Jannis Kounellis, it has almost become a tradition. Under the auspices of Chantal Colleu-Dumont, the energetic director of the Chaumont-sur-Loire estate, a season of art comes each year to take over the body of the château, its park and its outbuildings, in parallel with a garden festival, which is in fact in tune with the rhythm of nature. In 2023, fifteen contemporary artists, big names or new discoveries, will see their creations interact with the place: for some of them, a vitalist thread evoking proliferation, mimicking the triple identity of the estate, could well link them.
