Fernand Léger. La vie à bras-le-corps
The exhibition
Fernand Léger, mechanics of work and leisure
Léger at Soulages, it is like a return of elevator. Among the permanent collections of the museum dedicated to the painter of the Outrenoir, his ballet of frank colors stands out. A tribute to the legitimate transmission and sharing of experience, this exhibition in the form of a small retrospective is part of a cycle on the great moderns. Picasso, Calder and Le Corbusier, but also Yves Klein, then Chaissac and CoBrA: a procession that Benoît Decron, the museum's director, proudly continues with Fernand Léger (1881-1955), taking pride in having "passed through all the arcana of modernity".
