The exhibition

From the pages of Elle magazine to the Printemps galleries, Alain Le Foll's work travels through the Paris of the 1960s. A versatile graphic artist and draughtsman, he uses a wide range of media: wallpaper, porcelain and children's books, all of which have been brought together for the exhibition of this explorer of the imaginary at the Palais Lumière in Evian. From the benches that saw the flowers with their large, curved petals, pearled from their source, build the artist's floral universe, the water city has planned a major retrospective for the fortieth anniversary of his death. For if Le Foll engages his imagination in his advertising and illustration work, this dreamful genesis blossoms fully in his personal work.
