Blurred images of war, whose green light refers to the vision that one can have of reality through the infrared glasses that are used in modern weaponry: Alain Josseau's art is immediately placed on the side of a reflection on the status of the contemporary image. The choice of his subject, clearly privileged in the whole of his work, raises the question of the media power in the manipulation of reality. But also of that of the painting. At least, of the games of confusion maintained between the real and the fiction.
