If the cinema is the place "of a certain sharing of light" (Jacques Rancière), Eric Baudelaire's film manages to bring into existence stories that we might have seen condemned to absence. That of a foreign minister of an unrecognized country, that of a Japanese director who has passed through terrorism or that of a jihadist whose face remains unknown to us, but also that which he co-wrote with middle school students in Saint-Denis from 2015 to 2019.
