"Sculptor, yes, but artist above all. My work is not fixed on the matter-volume. There is the matter-of-two-dimensions and the almost non-existent one: the performances, the "reactions" in space... Concerning the sculpture, I try to see differently what is physical, to see what is beyond - the metaphysical, perhaps -, and to privilege a spiritual approach. In my work, I let myself go by going back and forth with materials and tools. The idea is not to create but to communicate with them. I don't so much choose the material, we choose each other and I am sometimes the material of the material."
