Around 2007-2008, Peter Soriano radically changed his work - as he had done in the early 1990s when he switched from painting to sculpture. Gradually eliminating the sculptural elements and leaving only cables and pipes attached to the wall and linked by spray-painted drawings, he focused increasingly on graphic forms - letters, numbers, punctuation elements, erasures, lines, circles and other geometric figures - composing a vocabulary comparable to a language or signage for the eye.
