The work process is a matter of memory, a bit like writing notebooks. Every morning I do about twenty or thirty drawings. Then I look at them and I choose the one I like. I never make figurative images because my shapes are above all a reflection of my mind, my sensitivity, my body, the way it all works together. So my approach is not theoretical, but rather the consequence of my own culture, my education, my childhood, my experience, what is happening today, in short, my life. That’s why the form comes from an attitude.”
