Bruno Pédurand

1967 (Pointe-à-Pitre)
Artist's gallery

Bruno Pédurand's work is rooted in the history of a people and in the social reality of the West Indies, certain aspects of which he denounces. He uses different mediums for this: painting, video, light, sound, he also makes installations. His works produce a disturbance which undoubtedly has for origin the technique used: a practice which plays on all the registers of the covering. Bruno Pédurand veils to better make present, covers to better reveal, obliterates to better reactivate.
