"By making painting and photography cohabit and dialogue, my aim is to make photographic iconography disappear as if it were no longer necessary to identify the subjects or to name them. You would be justified in saying that this dialectic overcomes a back and forth between the visible and the invisible. In fact, it participates in the attempt to resolve the paradox that accompanies this approach. Indeed, what is the invisible? Would everything that is given to see automatically belong to the visible? Few elements of the outside world enter my painting. However, they are all of the order of the visible. However, for years I have been trying to veil the visible while being haunted by the idea of revealing the invisible... ".
