Thierry Kuntzel
1948 (Bergerac) / 2007
Thierry Kuntzel was always divided between two passions of the image: the fixed image and the image which moves, with this in-between unassignable of the mental image of which one never knows to which point the apparent movement is made of successive and superimposed fixities. Hence the importance in this video work, immediately, of painting and photography, opening as many debates and intervals.
